Where to Turn Directory

‘Supporting good health and wellbeing in the Harrogate District’

Where to Turn is a directory of regular community activities and services provided by voluntary organisations across the Harrogate District. This fully searchable directory contains information about over 700 activities and services and is regularly updated by local charity, Harrogate & District Community Action.

The times and locations for meetings of local community groups sometimes change and we are not always made aware of the new details, so please do contact the group to confirm before making a journey if you are going along for the first time.

It is especially important with the regular updates to guidance, in light of the COVID-19 outbreak, to check with an organisation how their support may have changed over the coming weeks.

TIP: If you use the word coronavirus in your key word search your results will show services which are new or have been updated during the Covid-19 outbreak. (e.g. Use coronavirus shopping in keyword search or coronavirus as keyword and select a theme such as Mental Health)

If you cannot find what you are looking for please phone us on 01423 813096 or email help@hadca.org.uk and we will do our best to direct you to someone who can help. (Please note these are the correct contact details for finding support now during the coronavirus outbreak and are different from those at the top of page and on Where To Turn publicity)

If you are looking for one-off charity and community events please visit our Events Calendar
However please bear in mind that with the current COVID-19 outbreak, events will not be taking place until guidance changes.

If your group is not listed in the Where to Turn Directory follow the link to add an organisation or to add an activity.
