Boroughbridge Community Library
Boroughbridge Community Library and Resource Centre is a volunteer-run, welcoming library at the heart of the community providing a full range of library services, including computers, for the benefit of everyone. A Home Delivery service is offered to those who are housebound. The library is very child-friendly. Activities such as StoryTime, scrabble, ICT support and a jigsaw group are held weekly and one-off events eg: murder-mystery and poetry evenings are held regularly.
A warm space open to the local community with free wifi and accessible toilets.
There is an upstairs room available for hire by the public.
The Library, a registered charity, is managed by a steering committee and around thirty friendly, well-motivated volunteers. Library opening hours are
Mondays: 10-1, Tuesdays: 2-5 pm, Wednesdays: 10 am to 1 pm, Thursdays: 10 am to 1 pm / 2pm -5pm
Fridays: 10 am to 1 pm, Saturdays: 10 am to 1pm.
