Description of the role:

Do you have knowledge to share about wildlife? We're looking for people who know a bit about wildlife (or are keen to learn) to record what they see and share their knowledge with other volunteers and members of staff.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

You'll be undertaking surveys for chosen species groups which may include, mammals, birds, butterflies and moths and other invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians and botanical surveys.
You'll be recording and providing data (both paperwork and digital) in the agreed format to the Ranger Team and sharing your knowledge with other volunteers and staff members

Practical information:

You'll be provided with the necessary induction and training. Access to a vehicle to get to Brimham Rocks will be essential and we'll support you with agreed expenses to help cover the cost of travel between home and Brimham Rocks. Typical time commitment will be half a day per week or as much as you can offer.
