Description of the role:

The Skell valley Project is a Heritage Lottery funded project. You'll be volunteering as part of a small team setting up and retrieving bat monitoring devices to help us better understand the distribution of bat species within the Skell Valley.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

You'll be passionate about nature, wildlife and the outdoors and want to make a difference. You'll be keen to explore and learn more whilst volunteering alongside others.

Practical information:

You'll likley be volunteering on a weekly basis to set and then retrieve bat monitoring devices across the Skell Valley. You'll need to be reasonably fit as walking will be involved and you'll need access to transport.
