Digital Champion

Digital Champion
Yorkshire Cancer Community
Description of the role:

We want people who are active on social media and who are willing to share positive health messages with their friends and followers to help us catch cancer early. The CancerSMART team will be sharing messages via a Facebook group each week, and we would like Digital Champions to share these messages with their networks so we can reach more people to help prevent cancer and diagnose more cancers earlier.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

Someone who is 18 and over
Active on social media
Willing to learn about and share cancer information

Practical information:

The role is home-based, and you can volunteer whenever you have a spare moment in your week to share our posts. You will need a phone, tablet or computer to access social media. Sharing messages only takes seconds of your time.
We are a patient-led support and information network for cancer patients and carers covering Yorkshire and the Humber.
