Orb's recording studio, rehearsal space and DJ facilities are at the heart of Orb. If you would like to get involved in this facility, running recording sessions and facilitating music sessions we'd love to hear from you, even if you can only give us a couple of hours a week. We are keen to hear from people with skills using music recording packages like Cubase and Reason and are equally confident in helping to mentor some of our service users in their sessions.
There are no formal qualifications required for this role, but we are looking for someone with technical experience volunteering in a studio. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a sound engineering background and a good understanding of audio electronics, music production and recording equipment.
Volunteers would be based at our main office and studio at the Garage, Elephant and Castle Yard, Knaresborough.
