Volunteers - dog & cat fostering & related work

Volunteers - dog & cat fostering & related work
The Yorkshire Rescue
Description of the role:

We are a small online animal rescue, with a focus on the rescue and rehoming of dogs and cats, operating across Yorkshire. We depend on a network of fosterers to support this work. We would very much like to develop a strong volunteer base of animal lovers who would be able to foster for us when the need arises.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

We are looking for experienced dog and cat owners, but please don't let lack of experience stop you applying - we are happy to give support.

Practical information:

Dog fostering takes patience and commitment. Our rescue coordinator will want to find out about your experience and home set up, and work with you to ensure any placement is a good fit for you and the dog. This may take time.
For cat & kitten fosters, our resident cat lady will talk to you about the needs on the individual animal(s) and will be happy to offer support.
