We are looking for passionate, committed individuals to become trustees for our animal rescue charity. You will be part of a team responsible for shaping and growing our rescue, operating within the regulations set by the Charities Commission. In return, you will experience the satisfaction of rescuing and successfully rehoming animals in need.
A little about The Yorkshire Rescue. We are a small animal rescue, focussing primarily on dogs and cats, active across Yorkshire. We operate on line, with the backup of fosterers and a small number of kennel spaces. Our aim is to expand our work in the coming years - we need your help to achieve this!
We are primarily looking for people with a passion for rescue. It would be helpful to have experience in the following areas:
fundraising & finance
marketing and social media
project management
Trustees currently meet monthly, either in person or virtually. The timing is flexible, depending on people's needs. Trustees will be expected to spend a few hours each month developing projects for the rescue. We have an annual AGM.

We are a Yorkshire based charity that, since 2009, has focused on helping neglected, mistreated and unwanted dogs to find their forever homes. To date, we have successfully rescued and re-homed over 2000 dogs in the UK.
