Description of the role:

As a social media volunteer you will help make this possible by playing an important role
by driving online engagement and bringing more attention to our charity. This flexible role can be done from home at a time to suit you.

What’s involved?

• Researching and creating creative content for our local social media channels
• Identifying opportunities to establish relationships with local community groups
• Advertising volunteering opportunities
• Thinking of innovitave ways to drive online engagement
• Identifying target audiences

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

Our social media volunteers are;

• Passionate about supporting parents
• Organised and reliable
• Able to think creatively when sharing content
• Good communicators

Practical information:

Time commitment:

• This is a flexible role that can fit around your commitments and availability
• The time you will spend volunteering may vary depending on the number of activities you are
supporting. You could volunteer with as little as 2 hours per month
• We’re ideally looking for people who can volunteer for at least 6 months
