Organisation Information

Harrogate Homeless Project is a registered charity dedicated to supporting homeless people in the Harrogate District. We’re a team of committed individuals, who want to make sure that homeless people have the strategies, support and services that are needed to begin the difficult journey back to truly independent living.

We run a homeless hostel on Bower Street, which provides immediate shelter for rough sleepers accessing our No Second Night Out scheme.

Our Springboard Day Centre provides food, shower and washing facilities, skills workshops, activities, psychotherapy, GP and other medical and therapeutic services. Our staff are on hand to offer people support with their housing situation and practical help with applications and access to other services.

Our team are an incredibly friendly bunch, and possess the knowledge and expertise needed to offer multifaceted support to homeless people from all walks of life - irrespective of background, history or special needs. Our focus will always be on helping people to achieve access to sustainable independence.

If you are rough sleeping for the first time, and think you could benefit from our No Second Night Out scheme, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, by either using the referral form on our website or calling us on 01423 566900.
If you know someone who is rough sleeping, you can also get in touch in the same ways. Doing so will allow us to help them avoid rough sleeping for more than one night, and could well help them on the path back to safe and secure living.
