Listing donated items for sale online using a very simple listing platform linked the Oxfam Online shop the opportunity includes:
Researching donated items to find value them
Preparing items to make the most of our donations
Writing accurate descriptions to go on our website
Taking quality photographs to attract online customers
Packing and posting online orders
Putting your passion to good use by specialising in your favourite areas
A love of using computers would be an advantage but is not necessary as full training is given.
Our normal ask is 4 - 8 hours a week our shifts are 4 hours in a morning 9 - 1 and 4 in an afternoon 1 - 5 , however we are very flexible and if you can only do 2 hours or 10 - 2 that is fine with us.
Travel expenses are paid within reason and lunch expenses of up to £6.00 are paid if volunteering for 5 hours or more in one shift.
