Volunteering on behalf of the Living Room Starbeck and Starbeck in Bloom you will be required to help steward Starbeck Fest on 6 July 2024. You will keep an eye on festival attendees, making sure all are safe and well, as well as stall holders and the food stalls. And you will also help with litter picking.
You need to be happy and smiley!
This is a one off event from 11am-4pm. Volunteers will be needed from 9.30 am onwards for a briefing and, depending on the number of volunteers on the day, will rotate throughout the day for 3 hour shifts.

A community cafe in Starbeck sponsored by Life Destiny Church.
The cafe is normally open, serving drinks and snacks from 9am to 4pm, Tuesday to Friday. Come on in, enjoy the warmth and just sit, chat, or get involved in some of our special interest groups.
Every Thursday lunchtime, between 12:30am and 1:30pm, LDC hosts a free, hot, two course meal for anyone who needs it in the Living Room Cafe. You do not need a foodbank voucher in order to receive this. If you or your family could do with a good, square meal, simply come along and be our guests. You will be welcome!
