The National Trust is passionate about engaging families and younger audiences to fulfil our aim of being for everyone for ever. Our family activities volunteers help us achieve this aim by delivering a fun programme of family events. This could include craft workshops, trails, tours and other family events
You'll have a "muck in", "can do" attitude and be confident working alongside families. You'll be reasonably fit and able to deliver activities inside and out, making family visits to this World Heritage Site special.
You'll need to be available at weekends and during school holidays when our family activities programme is active. Full training will be given.

Fountains Abbey is owned by the National Trust. One of the most fascinating and historic sites in the whole of Europe. Cistercian Abbey, 18th century Water Garden, Elizabethan Hall and Deer Park. A World Heritage site. The range of voluntary work available is almost limitless and much of it takes place all year round.
