Volunteer/ befriender who will be supported by team leaders Dot and Chrissy who run the (self funding), community social group for semi/retired people.
The group is Dementia Friendly, so people with memory loss and Dementia related health issues do attend. We also support carers with friendship and advice.
No qualifications needed, but must be a caring and sociable person, a good communicator, willing to assist/support our cafe friends with activities ie crafts, games, discussion and interaction. Can serve refreshments.
Enjoys having fun and putting a smile on faces!
We meet 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.
DBS will be provided.

£3 per session including activities, talks, crafts, quizzes, games and discussion.
