Time Together provides bespoke support for disabled and autistic people in the Harrogate area, with focus on improving independence, well-being, and community connection.
An exciting opportunity to volunteer at our creative club has arisen. Join us once a month as we deliver a wide range of accessible art classes for disabled and autistic people.
You will assist our workshop leader in the delivery of the session. This may involve setting up equipment, laying out art supplies and cleaning away afterwards.
Feel free to join in and help our clients with cutting, gluing or painting etc, in order to create their own unique piece of art.
This role would suit someone who enjoys engaging in craft activities or likes being involved in art.
This would be of particular interest to people over the age of 18 who may be looking to work with people with disabilities or autism or to gain experience working in this area.
This role is a great opportunity to facilitate an activity that will benefit the mental health and wellbeing of our clients. If you have an additional skill, hobby, or interest you’d like to share, we’d love to hear about it! Volunteers must be comfortable in a group setting and building rapport with people from all walks of life.
The sessions all take place at Unit 10, Provincial Works, Laundry Road, Starbeck, Harrogate, HG1 4QE.
The sessions take place once a month from 4:00pm - 6:45pm.

We would be happy for you to volunteer at any number of sessions or all of them.

Our one-to-one support enables people to access opportunities for work, volunteering, education, health appointments, leisure, and to participate in community activities of their choice.
We also facilitate a variety of inclusive and accessible groups, clubs, trips and events that boost confidence, self-esteem, connection and friendships, and we have an accessible interactive sensory space which is available for community use.
