The Friends of Harrogate Hospital were formed in 1966 to purchase equipment and facilities for Harrogate Hospitals. The volunteers have raised over £2.3m. It is a volunteer led organisation, it has no paid staff or offices.
We are currently looking for Trustees to join the Board and share their skills and experience to help us build up the organisation.
Board members are responsible for all the fundraising activities, working closely with the Hospital staff to identify equipment and facilities that would enhance the patient experience.
We are looking for a variety of skills including fundraising, governance, finance, social media, medical/nursing knowledge and volunteer recruitment.
Board experience is not required as a full induction will be provided.
We meet around six or seven times per year. The day and time are under review.
If you are interested, please email John Fox, Chair of the Board of Trustees – john@friendsofharrogatehospital.org or phone John on 07801 273 704 to arrange a meeting to discuss your involvement further.
