Description of the role:

HALO is a weekly social session for disabled people aged 14 upwards. We offer a range of activities including arts and crafts, games, baking and sports but mainly the opportunity to socialise.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

We need people who like to chat to others and assist them to participate in leisure activities. No particular skills are required other than being a people person who enjoys the company of others. Our members are currently mostly young adults and the group is busy, vibrant and lots of fun. SEssions take place on

Practical information:

HALO takes place on Mondays from 7.00 - 8.30pm. Due to the hours required, the opportunity is not appropriate for under 16 year olds due to work permit restrictions. Fairfax is no longer on a bus route unfortunately but there is a stop on nearby Wetherby Road.
