What Would I Be Doing?
• loading donated items into the charity van at our Donation Centre and unloading them at one of our shops
• delivery and collection of donated items in the charity van from various locations
• helping to plan routes and delivery schedules
• assisting in maintaining the van to a good standard and letting us know of any maintenance issues
• offering a friendly service when picking up donations from local households
What Skills Would I Need?
• a full driving licence - we are looking for a confident driver with good navigation skills who would be able to handle a van
• a considerate driver representing Yorkshire Cancer Research
• to be reasonably active – this role involves lots of lifting, bending and carrying
• the ability to communicate well with colleagues and members of the public
• the initiative to contribute in a helpful way as part of a team
• reliability and good time keeping

All days and shifts considered. Applicants must be over 21 and have held a driving licence for over three years
