Orb Community Enterprise is a mental health and wellbeing charity providing a supportive creative space for vulnerable individuals.
We are seeking a volunteer Treasurer to join our Board to oversee all matters financial. Day to day finances are managed by the Operations Manager and your role will be to support them in the preparation of the accounts, quarterly reporting to the Board, budgeting, forecasting and associated financial policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and be pro-active and hands on.
Strong financial background, knowledge of charity sector finances would be great but not essential.
The role will not be time consuming with attendance at Orb's Board meetings held quarterly and ideally a monthly catch up with the Operations Manager / Strategic Director.

It was founded in 2004 and we are based in The Garage, Elephant Castle Yard, Knaresborough, HG5 0EQ. We support people from across the whole of the Harrogate and Rural district of North Yorkshire.
