Girlguiding North Yorkshire West County
Description of the role:

You will have the chance to make a valuable contribution to the lives of girls and young women, by helping on a weekly basis at a unit meeting. As a leader you'll help run a unit of girls, you can take your pick from Rainbows 5 - 7, Brownies 7 - 10, Guides 10 - 14 and Senior section 14 - 25. Girl guiding UK values the skills, knowledge and experience you can bring. In guiding you'll also gain valuable people skills, that can be put to use in other areas of your life. We urgently need volunteers in Harrogate district. Meetings are anytime between 5.15 pm and 7.30 pm and usually last 1 hour. All training is free.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

Being a leader doesn't require lots of qualifications. Girl guiding will provide all the training you need.

Practical information:

Our units meets in Schools, Church halls and Village halls across Harrogate district.

We run Rainbows (5–7 years), Brownies (7–10 years), Guides (10–14 years) and The Senior Section (14–25 years).
