Part-time – 28 hours per week (over 4 days, including a Tuesday)
NJC Spinal Column point 20 (£31,508 pro rata)
Hybrid working – both home and office-based (in Askham Bryan, York)

Location – North Yorkshire

We are recruiting to fill our small but essential Marketing and Communications team. This is your chance to play a creative and important role in delivering key communications to help Yorkshire’s communities thrive.

We’re looking for someone with exceptional writing skills, a creative flair and a solutions focussed can-do attitude.

You’ll be joining our friendly and ambitious team of four. Our job is to ensure that we are communicating effectively with the organisations and communities we support across North, South and West Yorkshire. It’s a big ask for a small team, so you’ll need to be efficient, creative, focussed and eager to learn new skills.

The team covers everything from social media to website development, community development case studies to impact reports - and not forgetting media relations, marketing collateral, digital content and newsletters! You will need all-round excellent marketing and communication skills, be digitally savvy and know how to achieve great media coverage for our many services and projects. You will also need an eye for what looks good and reads well. As a team we work together and share ideas; this is a role where you will be valued and able to develop your own skills, whilst being encouraged to share yours with others.

If you are self-motivated and organised, love websites, words, social media and digital content, and are not fazed by working on multiple projects and campaigns, then this is the job for you.
