Charity trustees needed

Charity trustees needed

Covid-19 has been a journey. Will you join us at the crossroads?

HADCA has been at the forefront of Covid support for the past 15 months. Having pivoted our usual activities to support people and communities during the pandemic, now is the time for our long-standing local charity to set its course for the future. We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Trustee board to help to drive us forward during the Covid-19 recovery period and beyond.

Community action has been one of the heartening things to emerge during the pandemic. We want to harness this thriving sense of community across the Harrogate district, connecting and collaborating to build on it.

We see a future where local people are enabled to access information and support tailored to their individual situation rather than having to fit around what services are available. This will be a future in which everyone’s skills and experience are valued and everyone can contribute.

Can you help us make this a reality? We’re keen to hear from people with an understanding/experience of either social care, business planning, HR or property management and who would like to make a difference to their local community.

This rewarding role involves meeting four times a year (currently on Zoom) and contributing to two development sessions.

To arrange an informal chat about the role at a time to suit you, please email frances@hadca.org.uk or phone HADCA on 01423 504074 and leave a message.

Expressions of interest by 31st July please.

HADCA has been providing information and support services to individuals, organisations and groups across the Harrogate district since 1988. Through our Harrogate Easier Living Project (HELP) we assist local people with support services to help them to stay living safe, well and independently in their own homes.
