HARCVS AGM - Where to Turn in Harrogate District

HARCVS AGM - Where to Turn in Harrogate District

Celebrate local voluntary and community action and face opportunities and challenges together.

We would be delighted if you could join us for an informal network lunch from 12.30pm.

You’ll be able to find out more about the new fully searchable Where to Turn Community Directory making it easy to access information about hundreds of community activities and services supporting good health and wellbeing.

There will also be information about the brand new Harrogate District Volunteering Directory, helping people find the ideal volunteering opportunity to suit their interests, availability and needs.

From 1.15pm, our volunteers and charities we’ve worked with during the year will share their stories of how they make a difference in our communities.

We are pleased to welcome Richard Flinton, Chief Executive of North Yorkshire County Council as our guest speaker, with our formal AGM agenda at 2pm.

We hope colleagues from across the district will be able to join us to celebrate local voluntary and community action as we face new opportunities and challenges together.

There is parking at the venue, which is fully accessible. Bus route 24 stops outside the Hall. A bus leaves Harrogate Bus Station at 12.30pm, arriving at Hampsthwaite at 12.45pm - in plenty of time for lunch!

This is a free event but please book your place in advance to help with arrangements and catering.

If you have any questions about the event please email cvs@harcvs.org.uk or call 01423 504074.
