We are delighted to announce that Elaine Stevenson has been appointed to the role of Chief Executive at Harrogate & District Community Action.  

Elaine is due to start in post mid-April, in time for a handover with outgoing Chief Executive, Frances Elliot, who leaves at the end of April.  

Elaine has worked in the voluntary sector for over 30 years, most recently as Chief Executive of a young people’s safety charity. Trustees were particularly impressed by her experience in collaboration, partnership working and income generation, all of which will be vital skills in taking HADCA forward in its next chapter.  

Elaine said, “This is such a privilege, and I’m very much looking forward to getting to know HADCA’s staff, volunteers, partners and the local community, to understand how we can all work together to continue HADCA's amazing achievements, improving lives and getting our voices heard”.
