We hope colleagues from charities, community groups and partner organisations from across the Harrogate district will be able to join us on Thursday 10th October 2024 12.30pm at Wesley Centre, Oxford Street, Harrogate HG1 1PP.
There will be a networking lunch at 12.30pm, with our HADCA AGM starting at 1pm.
Connecting and collaborating is at the heart of HADCA’s mission. This year, HADCA has been working alongside lots of other local voluntary sector partners including the Macmillan team at the Sir Robert Ogden Centre, exploring how best we can connect people with activities and support in their local communities.
The theme of our AGM this year focuses on how charities can work with local health partners to encourage people to stay active and well in the community. Jackie Rowbottom, Macmillan Cancer Support and Information Specialist, will be speaking about the concept of Community Beacons and how we can all work more closely together to support people living with and beyond cancer.
We also look forward to hearing from some amazing ambassadors for our successful volunteering projects Community Fit, Help Out Harrogate and Power of 10.
Could yours be the next community group that benefits from these volunteer teams? Come along and find out more.
We would love to have you join us for lunch and a chance to catch up with people from across the local voluntary sector locally.
Please let us know you’re coming along here to help with catering arrangements.
