Hourly rate: £13.51
Contract type: Part-time-four hours per week

We are a small, registered charity looking for an enthusiastic Play Club leader to work alongside volunteers to provide a safe, stimulating and fun environment for children with additional needs at our weekly play sessions based at Mowbray School in Ripon.
Job Description:
Set up the club to ensure a safe, welcoming and secure environment for when families arrive.
Meet and greet the children and their parents/carers.
Maintain accurate attendance records in line with data protection policy.
Communicate effectively with parents/carers, colleagues, trustees and volunteers.
Plan and deliver an exciting range of activities based on the needs of the group.
Always supervise children adhering to relevant policies, for example, safeguarding children.
Designate key roles and responsibilities to colleagues and volunteers and monitor their progress.
Establish positive working relationships with the host school, caretaker and local community.
Ensure the club always follows company policy and procedures such as when assessing risk, and health and safety requirements.
Complete accident and incident reports when required.
Tidy away toys and activities at the end of the session.
Celebrate diversity and promote inclusive practice.
Undertake relevant training as required for the role.
The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS check to satisfy child protection requirements.
