SLIPPER SOCIAL EVENT AT HARROGATE LIBRARY - MONDAY 24TH FEBRUARY 2025, 10-12noon.

Pop long to the library to pick up a free pair of slippers!

Slips, trips and falls by older people can affect their ability to live independently, so Harrogate Library is working with local partners to host a “slipper social” to tackle this issue during the colder months.

Attendees will be able to pick up a free pair of slippers whilst chatting to other organisations that support older people. The free slippers on offer have rubber soles and are wide fitting to make it easier for people with restricted mobility to get them on and off. They also have a Velcro fastener, so they will not slip off.

This event is one of several events across the County supported by money from Arts Council England.
