'Off the Page' is an exciting new reading group for adults (18+) in Harrogate. However, it is a reading group with a difference, as you won't have to actually do any reading yourself. It will be John who will be doing all the hard work of making the stories spring to life while you sit back and relax with a cup of tea.

As well as a chance to get to listen to a snippet of a story; a short story or a bit of poetry, it will also be a chance for you to meet new people and have a cuppa and chat! There is no pressure to come every week as the things that John will be reading will be different each week.

The sessions will be happening fortnightly from 17th October on the following dates:

31st October
14th November
28th November
12th December

All sessions will start at 2:00pm and finish at 3:00pm and will be in the coffee area on the ground floor in Harrogate Library. If you are unsure as to where to go then please ask the library staff who will be able to point you in the right direction. The sessions will be roughly split in half, with the first part being a chance for you to meet new people and socialise and the second half is for you to relax and listen to John read.
