Join us at The BioHub - for a hands-on workshop on regenerative farming, tree planting, water management, and sustainability practices

Join us at The BioHub - RegenFarmCo, an award-winning leader in regenerative agriculture, for an immersive, hands-on workshop where you’ll explore the vital connections between nature, farming, and environmental sustainability. This workshop covers a range of activities, which could include (weather depending) tree planting, hydrology, rockery and water management, and essential farming practices that contribute to building a more resilient environment.
At RegenFarmCo, we are committed to regenerative methods that restore and enrich the land while creating sustainable ecosystems. During this workshop, you'll gain practical skills in agroforestry, learn about the environmental impact of regenerative farming, and dive into the different techniques we use to nurture the soil, manage water, and support biodiversity.

Why Attend?
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in sustainable farming practices, environmental restoration, or agroforestry. Whether you're a farmer, landowner, environmental advocate, or just curious about how regenerative agriculture works, you’ll walk away with the knowledge and tools to make a meaningful impact on your land or community.

What You’ll Learn:
(Weather Dependent)
- Tree Planting & Agroforestry: Discover the principles of agroforestry and how strategically planting trees can enhance biodiversity, improve soil health, and support sustainable farming practices.
- Hydrology & Water Management: Learn how to manage water resources efficiently, create sustainable irrigation systems, and understand the role of water in maintaining ecosystem balance.
- Rockery & Soil Health: Explore how rockeries and natural landscaping techniques can help manage soil erosion, create habitat for wildlife, and support the regeneration of land.
- Regenerative Farming Practices: Understand how regenerative agriculture works to restore the land and support long-term sustainability, from holistic grazing to soil-building techniques.
- The Environmental Impact of Agroforestry: Gain insight into how integrating trees into farming systems can reduce carbon footprints, enhance biodiversity, and improve water retention.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with practical tools and skills that can help you apply these regenerative techniques in your own projects or community. Whether you’re looking to improve your own farming practices or just learn more about how we can work with nature to build a healthier planet, this workshop will inspire and equip you for the journey ahead.
Our Farm:
Nestled in the heart of Yorkshire, the BioHub is home to 113 sheep and is a proud example of agroforestry, where livestock and trees coexist in harmony, contributing to a balanced ecosystem. We integrate these principles into every aspect of our farm's operations.

RegenFarmCo specialises in circular and regenerative farming to create sustainable food systems and foster environmental stewardship. RegenFarmCo has an established educational workshop programme at its demonstrator farm in North Yorkshire, which uses hydrology, agroforestry, coppice woodlands, vermiculture composting, cover crops and wildflower meadows in intelligent ecosystem design. Participants experience life on a circular and regenerative farm, getting hands on with day to day farm activities.

Workshop Highlights:
- Interactive Learning: This isn’t just a lecture! Expect to roll up your sleeves and get involved with practical, hands-on activities.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work alongside fellow attendees to brainstorm and problem-solve challenges facing regenerative farming and tree planting in your own community.
- Real-World Applications: Walk away with concrete tools and strategies you can apply to your own projects, farms, or gardening initiatives.
- Community Impact: Be part of a movement dedicated to healing our land and leaving a positive legacy for future generations.

Partnership & Funding:
This workshop is supported through a collaboration with the AFN Network, an organisation dedicated to empowering communities and promoting sustainable practices. With funding from the AFN Network, we are excited to offer this opportunity to individuals passionate about regenerative agriculture and environmental stewardship.
