Badapple Tuesday Youth Theatre

Do you know a young person who would love to gain confidence and have fun working as a team to learn theatre and performance skills and have fun with their friends? We are expanding our youth theatre classes this autumn so we can offer even more to young people aged 7-16 across three classes every Tuesday night in school term time. The sessions are led by our creative team of Becky Lennon and Sue Rosser and we are also now offering Arts Award certification so that our students can receive certificates and even- at the highest Gold level- UCAS credits for the work they are already doing! Don’t worry, it doesn’t make it ‘like school’… it often just means keeping a scrapbook or vlog of the fun projects we do along the way…

And of course we will still be working across the winter and spring on our annual ‘Big Panto’ performance that we hope will once more take place at York Theatre Royal in the early Spring.

Class One: 4.45-5.45 is KS2 ages 7-10 (Y3-5)
Class Two: 5.45-6.45 is top KS2 (Y6) and lower KS3 (Y7 )
Class Three: 6.45pm – 7.45pm KS3-Ks4 (Y8 upwards).

We charge per term for the course with payment in advance.

Term dates:
Autumn 2023: Sep 12th-October 24th inc.
Winter 2023: November 7th- December 12th inc.
Spring 2024: (1) 16th January- 6th Feb inc. Plus a date to be finalised for our Big Panto.

We charge on a termly basis but the fees usually equate to £8 per session.
