Harrogate Gateway Football Club

The club provides coaching and footballing opportunities for people with learning disabilities in the Harrogate area. The club caters for and runs teams at all levels of ability. As well as playing in the Northern Alliance League, the club enters regional and national competitions and regularly has players selected to play in the National MENCAP and Special Olympics teams. The players meet every Tuesday night between 7.30 and 9.00 pm at St Aidan's C of E High School in Harrogate (during term time).
Although the majority of our players have learning disabilities, most of the events and the clubs that we are involved with are pan disability. We would therefore always welcome footballers from other disability groups and offer them the same opportunities as LD players.
