Alzheimer's Society - Virtual Group for Younger People with Dementia
During the coronavirus outbreak, Younger People affected by dementia are being offered the chance to access a new Virtual Group run by Alzheimer’s Society in York, starting on Friday 26 June 10am-11am. The Group is called “Desert Island Discs” and will be focussed on music of the 60’s onwards, with participants able to request songs that they enjoy. The group will also have a chat about the music, pop/rock concerts they have been to, festivals or why the music is special to them and they will have access to a Dementia Support Worker.
