Where to Turn

The Village

The Village Harrogate is a community hub aiming to build friendship, give purpose and find community in the town of Harrogate and beyond. We have a range of projects happening in our premises.
Our Baby bank is a project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby and/ or family. The Village accepts professional and self-referrals from new mums and families that have practical needs e.g. nappies, wipes, clothing, school uniform or any other day to day necessities. The Village is also open on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30 for walk-ins.

Donations are accepted, please check Facebook and/or the website to see what is needed.

Our School Uniform Swap shop is open the first Tuesday of every month 9-11am. Bring any pre-loved uniform and swap it for the next size up. Or come and get any uniform that you need and save it going to landfill!

We have a Conversation Cafe every Thursday 10-12. This is a safe place to practice your English and build friendships.
