Nidderdale Community Transport
Nidderdale Community Transport is a partnership with North Yorkshire County Council, who have provided Nidderdale Plus with a Community Car, for use by residents who have no access to public or private transport, may live in a rurally isolated location and require door-to-door assistance with local transport needs.
The community car is available to Nidderdale residents for visits to doctors, dentists and to go shopping. The vehicle can take four passengers and there is plenty of boot room for shopping. It costs each passenger 45p per mile, and there are concessionary fares. All journeys need to be pre-booked (with at least 48 hours notice) by ringing Nidderdale Plus on: 01423 714953
