Carers' Resource- Young Carers

During the coronavirus outbreak, whilst all activities are postpones Carers’ Resource has staff working from home giving young carers information, advice and a listening ear. Fortnightly virtual youth clubs for both primary school age (BUDZ) and secondary school age (uTime) are full of fun, chat, crafts and games.

Young carers look after a relative with a disability, illness or addiction. This can impact their lives in lots of ways, so we look after them. We offer support to young carers aged 7-18, including mentoring work in schools, fortnightly youth clubs and day trips during school holidays so they can take a break and enjoy time with no responsibilities.
