We have a variety of volunteering opportunities available in our Sheffield Centre covering the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Come and help support our work…
Volunteer with our Skin Camouflage Service, either with administration or by training as a Skin Camouflage Practitioner and helping people with a visible difference to apply specialist camouflage products
Fundraise and promote the work of Changing Faces by taking part in challenge events or raising money through schools, workplace events
Help our Advocacy work, particularly if you are interested in working for a charity in the future, or have an interest in or already work in healthcare, especially dermatology, maxillofacial, ENT or plastic surgery
If you have personal or family experience of disfigurement you could speak to the media about your experiences in order to promote an informed view of people who have disfigurements and you could join the Changing Faces Community of Users and share personal experience in schools, workplaces, get involved in Face Equality projects, act as a sounding board and inform our work
Help support our administration office in Sheffield.
Ideally we would like individuals with previous admin/ fundraising experience depending on the particular role. We welcome volunteers with lots of enthusiasm and energy!

We’re a charity for people and families whose lives are affected by conditions, marks or scars that alter their appearance.
Our work is divided into two areas:
Changing Lives
We aim to help individuals lead full and satisfying lives. We give practical and emotional support to adults, children and their families. We also provide training, support and advice to professionals in health and education. Find out more about our services for adults <http://www.changingfaces.org.uk/Supporting-You> and families <http://www.changingfaces.org.uk/Your-Child>.
Changing Minds
We aim to transform public attitudes towards people with disfiguring conditions. We promote fair treatment and equal opportunities for all, irrespective of their appearance. We campaign for social change: advocating for more integrated health services; influencing schools and workplaces to create more inclusive environments; and lobbying for anti-discrimination protection and enforcement.
