The Lower Ure Conservation Trust

As part of our National Lottery Heritage Fund project ‘Ure Connected’, we will be holding a series of Nature Conservation Mornings, just for 14-18 year olds. These will be held at Nosterfield Nature Reserve on Saturday mornings, from 10am – 1pm. The first one is on Saturday 7th October, and following this, they will be held on the second Saturday of every second month.
We also offer Community Work Days, where you can join us in a wide variety of exciting conservation activities. For all our upcoming events, visit:

All of our 1.5 km of permissive footpaths are accessible by wheelchair and suitable for those with mobility issues.
There is wheelchair access to the Interpretation Building/Bird Hide, Tanfield Hide and Northern Viewing Screen.
