Stockeld Park Riding for the Disabled

We provide children with physical and / or learning difficulties, from three local schools, with the opportunity to ride. If it were not for our group these children would not have the chance to benefit from this unique experience. In addition to bringing great pleasure, riding also improves the child’s balance, posture, co-ordination and communication skills.

For every child who would like the opportunity to ride we need a minimum of three volunteers, plus instructors and people who carry out behind the scene activities. These wonderful people give their time freely, not just to help the children but also to raise funds for the group.
