Mind in Harrogate District - Mental Health Befriending service

Feeling anxious, lonely or isolated? Do you have difficulty making social connections?
Do you need more structure to your week or just some extra emotional support to help you to try something new?

Mind in Harrogate District offers a service which aims to match volunteer befrienders with people who would benefit from meeting a volunteer befriender on a regular basis for a walk, meet for a coffee or go shopping. The scheme aims to develop social relationships for people who are isolated, lonely, in need of human companionship and may struggle to make those connections on their own. The service is now running in Pateley Bridge, Broughbridge, Ripon and Masham as well as Harrogate.
