Washburn Heritage Centre
The Centre is run by volunteers to celebrate the heritage of the wonderful Washburn Valley. A stunning extension to Fewston Church, it is free to come in! The Centre features exhibitions about the heritage of the Valley, and we run an extensive programme of events including walks, workshops, talks and courses. At week-ends there is a popular tea-room featuring a wide selection of home-made cakes. The Centre is fully accessible and is available for hire.
The Tea Room is open
1 November to 31 March - Sundays, 11am-4pm
1 April to 31 October - Saturdays & Sundays, 11am-4.30pm.
