Harrogate and Knaresborough Toy Library

We are a local charity, which has been serving the community for the last 27 years. We run interactive, inclusive, educational, sensory, play sessions for preschool children. These sessions run 2 times per week and in spring to summer we offer children an outdoor sensory play session. The sessions create an important and safe network for parents and carers to meet in a non-judgemental setting, with a big focus on tackling isolation.
We also operate a toy lending service, which enables families/carers/childminders and schools to borrow educational toys to create an enriching learning experience for the child. We also have a focus on low income families, who do not have the disposable income to provide these toys, in the home.
