MAKING A DIFFERENCE

This is at the heart of what we do:
• We installed IT suites in all the schools in the remote Panchamul Valley in Nepal.
• We raised over £20,000 during Covid to support local charities and services.
• We raised over £5,000 in June 2022 to support Ukrainian refugees in our local communities.
• We partner local organisations such as Carers’ Resource, Supporting Older People and Dementia Forward.
• We work with local schools to provide Technology Tournaments, leadership courses and environmental projects.
• We are enabling children from 13 local primary schools to appear at the Royal Hall in a new musical they helped write.
• We organise and fund an Annual Remembrance Service at the local War Graves cemetery.

And there’s lots more – like our regular meetings at Harrogate’s Crown Hotel, our outings and visits, our walking, Book Club and golf groups. And then there’s The Brigand, our in-house magazine.
