Ripon & Rural Befriending Service

The Ripon and Rural Befriending Service provides company and support to local people through regular one-to-one home visits.

Our volunteer befrienders offer regular social visits to clients, providing them with company and a friendly listening ear. The volunteers are matched with clients, taking into account mutual interests, so that both parties benefit from this social contact.

If the need arises, our friendly office team can also provide information and signposting. They can also refer you to other local local agencies who can offer you additional support.
