Horizon Life Training

Horizon Life Training is a Christian Charity in Harrogate North Yorkshire facilitating the education and training of men and women in separate supported residential settings. We give them the opportunity to take full responsibility for their lives, gain self-respect and begin to support themselves financially. This grows through a journey of continued transformation, practical skill building and purpose. Working with training providers such as Harrogate Adult Learning, the Higher Education Colleges in Harrogate, Leeds and York, and local businesses, tradesmen and the care sector, we facilitate bespoke training packages for our residents based on their personal motivation – what they would most like to do as a career, study towards and achieve long-term matched to their capabilities and aptitudes. We currently have partners providing placements in plumbing, tiling, electrical, gas engineering, health & social care, CNC joinery, retail and motorsport. But this is not a closed list and if your goal is in another field contact us and we will investigate those opportunities in our area on your behalf. Every individual is unique and we work with applicants and their advisors to ensure suitability at the point of application.
