This role undertakes deliveries of a small number of items that the Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity (HHCC) and Volunteer Team has provided for colleagues who are working in Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) offices and premises across the organisation.
A full clean driving licence and a vehicle insured for business purposes are needed for this role and all mileage expenses incurred in connection with the role will be reimbursed.
We ask that people apply to become a HDFT Volunteer through competing an application form and be willing to provide references and a number of checks including a DBS. There is also a general induction and some e-learning training. The times of shifts and schedule of deliveries and locations will be discussed and agreed with the volunteer. A typical commitment will be approximately one morning or one afternoon per week. Volunteers are asked to inform the Volunteer Team if they are unable to attend for the shift for any reason.
