We would like to recruit volunteers to run and support library events and activities at Ripon Library. These might be one-off events such as author events, or regular events and activities like a reading group or similar.
Ideally you will have an interest in delivering events and activities and the confidence to work as part of a small team to advertise and welcome library visitors to library events.
You might be keen to plan and run events and help to promote them, or you might prefer to help with setting up, serving refreshments, and welcoming visitors to events at the library.
Both offers would be appreciated by the library team.
Ripon Library is very easy to access by bus or car if you don't live in the City Centre.
Events could take place during the day, during the evening or at weekends. Events are always planned in advance with time to advertise.
Buildings induction training and library awareness training will be included.

The libraries provide books, media and information for local residents in North Yorkshire.
The Library Service also provide a free delivery service to customers who find it difficult to visit the Library and Information Centre themselves.
