Event Volunteer at BHF Yorkshire Three Peaks

Event Volunteer at BHF Yorkshire Three Peaks
British Heart Foundation North and East Yorkshire
Description of the role:

We are looking for up to 18 volunteers to help us at the event alongside staff members on either Saturday 17 or Sunday 18 July. Event Volunteers have a choice of shifts and opportunities. For example, the Start/Finish Assistants will help with site install and branding, offer general support to Start/Finish Managers, give information to participants as required and help to hand out medals and water. Checkpoint Assistants will be transported to one of two checkpoints, help to set up or de-rig depending on shift and give support with crowd flow as required.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

You don't need any particular skills apart from a commitment to attend and carry out your shift with a smile and a few words of friendly encouragement for the participants! Please get in touch if you require information about accessibility of opportunities or you have a health condition that may require additional support to volunteer; your volunteer manager can give you a call to discuss suitable opportunities.

Practical information:

This is a one off opportunity in the great outdoors although you are free to volunteer on both Saturday 17 July and Sunday 18 July if you wish. You will receive a full online live induction.
