Volunteer
Washburn Heritage Centre
Description of the role:

We have lots of different roles to suit different people, for example helping in our Tea Room, taking part in the upkeep on our beautiful building, leading a walk, baking a cake, planning events, designing leaflets, helping with marketing, catering at events and much more.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

Skills are useful but not necessary. We are a friendly organisation where people can feel comfortable, enjoy themselves and benefit from our stunning surroundings in the Washburn Valley.

Practical information:

We ask for half a day per month and offer training such as food handling or first aid for volunteers working in our Tea Room. There are no good transport links, so it is useful to have your own transport.
