This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who would like to organise events for Guide Dogs for the Blind that will help to raise money and awareness for our charity. This can also involve encouraging businesses to take part in our name a puppy scheme. This is a great way to start building relationships with local networks and businesses, which can be used again in future employment. Alternatively, a good role for people who already have these contacts in their local community.
Have a passion for organising spectacular events? Want to help raise money for people living with a visual impairment? Then this could be the perfect volunteering opportunity for you.
The role is a couple of hours a week. We offer induction and training for all volunteers. Travel expenses from voluntary work are covered by the organisation.
