HealthWatch North Yorkshire has compiled a list of links to information and advice for people with various health conditions especially important at the time of the coronavirus outbreak.
Driven by the views and experiences of both patients and the public, Healthwatch North Yorkshire (HWNY) stands as both the independent voice on health and social care and as a key information point for services users across the county.
They perform 3 main functions:
• Acting as an information and signposting point for members of the public who need support with queries about, or issues with, health and social care services.
• Logging and monitoring the feedback received from the public, and information received from providers and regulators, about health and social care services.
• Using the above intelligence as a means to run research projects, campaigns and observational “Enter & View” visits of service premises (which they publicly report on) across the county.
